Port Blair, Oct. 12: The District Planning Committee meeting of South Andaman District (including Campbell Bay revenue area) is scheduled to be held under the Chairmanship of Shri Sanjay Kumar Singh, Adhyaksh, Zilla Parishad, South Andaman in the Conference Hall of Zilla Parishad, South Andaman on Oct.16, 17 & 18, 2023.
The meeting will be attended by the District Planning Committee Members, Special Invitees and Commissioner-cum-Secretaries/Secretaries/HODs of Plan Implementing Departments under A&N Administration to deliberate on 3 years Draft Action Plan (2023-24 to 2025-26) proposals formulated by Govt. Department under A&N Administration, Panchayati Raj Institutions and Urban Local Bodies in South Andaman District.
As per the schedule, on 16th October, the DPC will be held for Department of Agriculture, Health, Industries, Tribal Welfare, District Administration, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services, Education, JNRM, ANCOL, DBRAIT, Tagore College, Sports & Youth Affairs and Social Welfare,
On 17th October, it will be held for Department of Environment & Forest, Science & Technology, Disaster Management, Labour, Employment & Training, Fisheries, Civil Supply, Electricity, RCS, Art & Culture, Information, Publicity & Tourism and Govt. Press.
On 18th October, the DPC will be held for Department of APWD, Shipping, Statistics, PBMC, RD, PRIs & ULBs, Police, Judiciary, District Jail, Port Management Board, Pay & Accounts, Civil Aviation and Transport.
