Port Blair, Oct. 13: Shri. Vishal Jolly, National Executive Member-BJP today met the Chief Secretary (In-charge) Smti, Nandini Paliwal and appraised her about two burning issues pertaining to the JNRM Girls Hostel and transportation of Oil Tankers, LPG Gas Cylinders and other essential supplies to North & Middle Andaman District.

Shri Vishal Jolly along with office bearers of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, ANI visited JNRM Girls Hostel in presence of Principal and other officials. He made a thorough visit and felt seriously that the demands made by students are genuine & reasonable & justified.

Jolly presented a detailed picture of the ongoing protest & demands of girls/ students of JNRM. He explained her about the problems and difficulties they are facing due to lack of sufficient Hostels. He further stated that their demands are very much genuine and the A & N Administration should seriously look into these issues and solve it at the earliest.

Smti. Paliwal expressed that they have taken note of their demands and assured that, repair work of old hostel buildings is going on in a speedy manner along with construction of New Building. She further assured that; the above work will be completed within 10-15 Days which will address all the current issues.

Furthermore, on the issue regarding transportation of Oil Tankers, LPG Gas Cylinders and other essential supplies to North & Middle Andaman District, Smti. Paliwal assured of all possible steps to make sure of uninterrupted supply of these essential commodities through North & Middle Andaman.
