Port Blair, Nov. 17: A & N Administration had conducted written examination to fill up 2516 vacancies in 212 categories of Group ‘C’ Matric Level Posts in various Departments under A & N Administration. Tier – I Written Examination was conducted with the assistance of Staff Selection Commission (SSC) on 09.07.2023, in which, a total of 40,982 candidates appeared in the written examination conducted at 61 centres across the Islands.

On receipt of Answer Keys from the Staff Selection Commission (SSC), New Delhi, the A & N Administration had published Answer Keys and OMR Answer Sheets of candidates on the portal https://karmic.andaman.gov.in/grpcmatric for receipt of claims and objections on the Questions and Answers Keys.

After submission of claims and objections by the candidates, the A & N Administration has scrutinized and resolved the issues and allowed weightage marks for dropped Questions based on the evaluation of the Answer Sheets (OMR) by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC).

Accordingly, the statement of scores secured by the candidates have been uploaded on the A & N Administration’s website https://karmic.andaman.gov.in/grpcmatric and the same will be available online to access w.e.f 18.11.2023 from 11 AM onwards to till 21.11.2023 Midnight.

Further, the short-listing of candidates for Skill/Trade/Physical Endurance Tests (wherever applicable) is under process and will be prepared as per Vacancy Notice dated 29.04.2023 and shall be uploaded separately on the same website shortly.

Note for candidates: The score list generated by the Staff Selection Commission, does not confer to the candidates any right of appointment / selection to the notified/ preferred post. The rank of the candidates which appears in the score list does not necessarily reflect in the final selection. The Final Result is subject to verification of documents (in original) and qualifying the skill/Trade/Physical Endurance test (whichever is applicable), eligibility in terms of Vacancy Notice dated 29.04.2023.
