Port Blair, Dec. 4: The ANTCC President, Shri. Rangalal Halder has raised concern regarding the persistent non-availability of essential Ayurvedic medicines at the Ayush Unit of the Community Health Centre in Rangat.

In a letter addressed to the Chief Secretary, A&N Administration, Halder articulated the gravity of the situation, pointing out the consistent unavailability of crucial Ayurvedic medicines, causing inconvenience to those seeking alternative and traditional forms of healthcare in Rangat.

He stated that the accessibility of Ayurvedic medicines is not merely a matter of convenience but resonates with the broader objective of fostering diverse healthcare options in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

He emphasized the vitality of addressing the root cause of this issue to ensure the importance of steady and adequate supply of Ayurvedic medicines in Middle Andaman.
