Port Blair, Dec. 11: It is indeed a proud moment for A&N Islands, as Smti M. Bhavani, a Para-Athlete has brought laurels to the Islands by winning Gold in the Khelo India Para Games-2023 being held at New Delhi. Smti M. Bhavani won Gold Medal in 100 mtrs Athletics (Women) event. It is to mention that for the 1st time, the Para-Athletics team of A&N Contingent is participating in the Khelo India Para Games-2023. More medals are expected in the upcoming events.
