Diglipur, Dec. 13: The 53rd Annual Athletic Meet of PM SHRI GSSS Subhash Gram, Diglipur was held at Vivekananda Stadium today. The Chief Guest for the inaugural ceremony Shri. Siva Shakthi B, IFS, DFO, Diglipur declared the meet open by hoisting the flag while Shri S. Suresh Kumar DEO, Diglipur graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour.
Various events along with cultural programmes and march past were held and prizes were distributed by the dignitaries.
The meet was declared Closed by the Chief Guest of the closing ceremony Shri Binoj, Inspector, SHO, Diglipur while Shri PR Singaram, Pradhan, Subhash Gram, Gram Panchayat graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour.
In the junior group Rohan Minj won the individual championship for boys and Ankita Das for girls and in the senior group Rohit Shil and Sanjay Tirkey won the individual championship trophy for boys and Tamanna Baraik for girls.
The Overall Championship Trophy was bagged by Paget House whereas the Runner Up Trophy was won by Smith House.
The programme concluded with the Vote of Thanks proposed by Smti. Sulochana, Principal, PM SHRI GSSS Subhash Gram.
