Port Blair, Dec. 13: The 90th birthday celebration of the Founder and Senior Leader of DMK Party in Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Shri. R. Mardhuvaanan was held grandly on Monday at the DMK Office, Port Blair.
ANTCC President Shri. Rangalal Halder and Campaign Committee Chairman Shri. TSG Bhasker participated in this birthday celebration and honored Shri. Mardhuvaanan with a shawl and bouquet. They wished him a happy birthday.
People from all walks of life, especially the members of Tamil community gathered in large numbers to mark this special occasion.
Halder and Bhasker recalled the pioneering contribution of Shri. Mardhuvaanan in building the DMK Party in Andaman & Nicobar Islands. They hailed Shri. Mardhuvaanan for leading a life of sacrifice for the service of poor and wished him many more years of good health and happiness.
