Al-Ain (UAE), Dec. 18: The Indian chess team continues its stupendous performance at the 25th Asian Youth Chess Championship 2023 being held at Al-Ain Convention Centre, UAE. India won 3 gold medals in the blitz event of the 25th Asian Youth Chess Championship held last night.
Sharvaanica, A S secured gold in the girls under 08 category, Pratitee Bordoloi won the gold medal for India in the under- 10 girls category. Similarly, ACM Nivedita V C won gold for India in the under- 12 girls category.
Indian chess contingent has already put up a good show and won 9 medals in the Rapid Event of 25th Asian Youth Chess Championship.
Meanwhile, the prestigious standard format games are underway, which will conclude on 21.12.2023 with the presentation of the main awards. The top three federations /countries in the overall medal tally collected in all categories in standard chess will receive a trophy.
