Port Blair, Jan 16: The Department of Art & Culture, A&N Administration will be organizing awareness activities by conducting programmes and competitions highlighting the valor of Param Veer Chakra (PVC) Awardees to commemorate the 1st anniversary of renaming of 21 Islands after the names of PVC Awardees.
On 20.01.2024, "Veer Gaatha "- a poetic tribute to PVC Awardees will be organised. In this regard, applications from budding writers & poets have been invited alongwith their poems through email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Only selected poems may be allowed to be presented. Mobile Film Making competition will also be organized during the week on the theme of PVC awardees. The duration of the film should be within 2 minutes, in HD quality and original. The last date for submission of the entry through email is 19.01.2024. Suitable prize will be awarded to the winners of the competition.
