Port Blair, Jan 19: On 19.01.2024, the Andaman and Nicobar Police takes a significant and monumental advancement in strengthening its law enforcement infrastructure with the inauguration of two ground breaking Police Stations: "Cyber Crime Police Station" and "Anti-Narcotics Police Station". The inauguration ceremony was officiated by Admiral D. K. Joshi, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, NM, VSM (Retd.), Honorable Lieutenant Governor of Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Vice-Chairman, Islands Development Agency.

The Cyber Crime Police Station is dedicated to addressing the escalating challenges posed by cyber threats in the digital age. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology and a highly skilled team of experts, the Police Station will focus on investigating and preventing cybercrimes, ensuring the security of our citizens in the virtual realm.

Simultaneously, the inauguration of the Anti-Narcotics Police Station underscores our commitment for eradicating the curse of drugs from our community. This specialized unit will employ advanced strategies to identify, track, and apprehend individuals involved in drug-related activities, contributing to a safer and healthier environment for all Islands.

Both these Police Station will function at CID Complex, Aberdeen Bazaar, Port Blair.
