Car Nicobar, Jan 21: On 20/01/2024, in celebration of Police Raising Week 2024, the police personnel posted at respective station under Nicobar District organized various programmes at their concerned jurisdictions. The events included cleaning activity as part of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan at the campus of Police Station Teressa by the staff precipitated in cleaning and beautifying the premises and surrounding.  Yoga session also organized for staff of this PS. The event emphasized the significance mark of Police Raising Day. Apart from that in order to facilitate Screening of Movie session organized by PS PS Teressa for the staffs and their family members. After movie Bada Khana was also organized for the staff and their family members at PS Teressa.  

Residents shared concerns, fostering open communication, and highlighting the unwavering commitment of Campbell Bay, a programme was conducted in the premises of PS Campbell under the supervision of SDPO Campbell Bay along with Police Personnel wherein 150 Nos residents actively participating this event, the initiative strengthens the bond between law enforcement and the community, showcasing robust support for the police force and the Sub-Division's dedication to public service.

During the raising day initiative “Children Police Dialogue” was launched at Car Nicobar by Car Nicobar Police staff under the leadership of SDPO Car Nicobar, and overall guidance of SP Nicobar District in which students of GSS Malacca had visited the Police station, fostering and understanding of Policing work and building trust between Police and younger generation. Screening of Movie session organized by PS Car Nicobar for the staffs and their family members in the SP(D) Conference Hall to entertain the Police personnel and their family members of PS Car Nicobar and SP(D) Nicobar office. A Nukkad Natak was also presented at Kuchat Park at Parka Village on creating awareness amongst the General public on Suicide and Alcohol. The play aim to educate and create awareness about the causes, signs & the harmful effect of alcohol abused on health and society.

ASI Amit Kumar & PC/Binay Kumar Panday of PS Katchal organized awareness sessions among students of GSSS Kapanga regarding cyber crimes, POCSO law, drug abuse and road safety regulations.

Further the student of GMS Kamota visit Police station Nancowrie for initiating awareness among the young generation and creating a friendly relationship/omage of Police Department.

All the events are being organized with an aim to enhance community engagement and promoting community safety.
