Port Blair, Jan 23: On the occasion of 100th Death Anniversary of Lenin, the great leader of Russian Revolution, CPI (M) Andaman and Nicobar State Organising Committee has organized a Seminar on the topic Lenin: Architect of Modern Socialist State at Shaheed Bhavan, Anarkali, Port Blair on 21st January, 2024 evening.
Banerjee, a senior leader of the CPI (M) was the main speaker who elaborately explained the working class struggle in Russia which led to the Russian revolution in 1917 and ultimate establishment of USSR and the role played by Lenin.
D. Ayyappan, Secretary, State Organising Committee who presided over the Seminar said that it was Lenin who laid the foundation of a modern socialist state of Russia.
State Secretariat Members D. Laxman Rao and B. Chandrachoodan, Dijo George, DYFI State Secretary and Soumavo Dey also spoke on the occasion. Party leaders and workers of Port Blair town attended the programme.
At Billiground, a discussion was organized by the Middle Andaman Area Committee of CPI (M) which was addressed by SR Mridha, Secretary Area Committee, Rahul Dev Mridha, President, DYFI State Committee and Prakash Sardar, Area Committee Member CPI (M). The participants garlanded the portrait of Vladir Lenin.
At Diglipur, a discussion was organized at CPI (M) Party Office by Digliur Area Committee which was addressed by Sunil Bepari, CPI (M) State Organising Committee Member.
