Port Blair, Jan 29: The Police Training School witnessed a momentous occasion today on 29/01/2024, as 35 Recruit Follower Constables of Andaman & Nicobar Police took their oath in a solemn ceremony, symbolizing the culmination of their rigorous training and unwavering dedication.

Chief Guest Shri. Devesh Chandra Srivastva, IPS, Director General of Police, Andaman & Nicobar Islands graced the occasion with his august presence.

Smti. Monika Bhardwaj, IPS, DIGP (Training), welcomed the Chief Guest and extended her heartfelt congratulations to the trainees for successfully completing the intense 03 Months Basic Training. Thereafter, Principal (PTS) Shri Manjeet Sheoran, IPS administered the oath to the trainees in the presence of esteemed dignitaries and the proud family members of the trainees.

Shri. Devesh Chandra Srivastva, IPS, Director General of Police, Andaman & Nicobar Islands delivered an inspiring address, encouraging the Trainees to strive for excellence, as they embark on their journey of becoming dedicated and sincere police personnel of professional and dedicated A&N Police.

F/Waterman (D) 82 (Exe.) Arbaaz Hussain secured All-Round Best (1st Position)

F/Safai Karmchari 116 (Exe.) J. Gopi was adjudged as All Round Best (2nd Position)
