Port Blair, Jan 30: The Andaman Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee solemnly observed Martyrs Day (Shaheed Divas) in remembrance of Mahatma Gandhi on the 30th of January 2024 at Congress Office, Port Blair.
The ANTCC President, Shri. Rangalal Halder led the observance by garlanding the portrait of Gandhi. Following this, Congress leaders and workers paid floral tributes to the revered leader, honored his legacy of non-violence and remembered his struggle for India's independence.
As a mark of profound respect, the gathering observed a two-minute silence, recalled Mahatma Gandhi's principles on the nation.
The event highlighted the ANTCC's commitment to preserving the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi by promoting unity, peace and justice within the citizens of our nation.
