I extend warm greetings to all Coast Guard personnel on the occasion of 48th Raising Day of the Indian Coast Guard. The Indian Coast Guard, established on February 1, 1977, has been a beacon of professionalism, safeguarding our coasts and ensuring maritime security.

Over the years, the Coast Guard has played a crucial role in maintaining the safety of fishermen, mariners, and our extensive coastline. The dedication and valour exhibited by the Coast Guard personnel in facing maritime challenges have been commendable.

As the Member of Parliament representing Andaman and Nicobar Islands, where the sea surrounds us, I want to express my heartfelt appreciation for the indispensable contribution of the Indian Coast Guard Officers, Jawans and all Civilian Staffs.
