On the 48th Raising Day of the Indian Coast Guard, I am delighted to extend heartfelt greetings and congratulations to all members and families within the Coast Guard community.

Over the years, the Indian Coast Guard has transformed into a formidable maritime entity, serving as a reliable ally for the local communities in these pristine Islands.

The Indian Coast Guard plays a crucial role in enhancing the safety and security of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, contributing significantly to anti-poaching and surveillance efforts on remote islands. Collaborative efforts between the Indian Coast Guard, Police and Forest personnel have been undertaken through Joint Coastal Patrol Sorties. Additionally, the numerous community interaction programme undertaken by Indian Coast Guard have positively impacted fishermen's perception regarding safety of life at sea.

I extend my sincere greetings and congratulations to all the dedicated Officers and personnel of the Indian Coast Guard, wishing them success in all their future endeavors.
