Port Blair, Feb 1: On 01.02.2024, the A&N Police organized a Cyber Awareness Session related to familiarization of “National Government Services Portal (https://services.india.gov.in)”, under Cyber Guru-Vaar initiative, held every Thursday by Cyber Crime Police Station, A&N Islands. In this training officers from the rank of Constable to Inspectors of A&N Police participated. This is 15th session in this series.

The National Government Services Portal (https://services.india.gov.in) stands as a transformative platform designed to streamline and enhance citizen-centric services across all levels of governance. With the advent of online services provided by numerous government entities, ranging from education and healthcare to electricity and local amenities, citizens now have unprecedented access to simplified processes, increased transparency, and heightened efficiency. Under the ambit of the India Portal project, overseen by the National Informatics Centre (NIC), the National Government Services Portal offers a comprehensive and well-categorized repository of approximately 13,597 online services. Through this centralized platform, citizens can seamlessly navigate through various categories such as Education and Learning, Health and Wellness, Money and Taxes, Jobs, and many more. The portal's intuitive interface ensures ease of access and searchability, empowering citizens to swiftly locate and avail themselves of the services they require. By embracing this digital ecosystem, individuals across the Islands can unlock a more efficient and accessible public service experience.
