Port Blair, Feb 7: This is for the information of all truck drivers and owners operating in Port Blair city about the timings for loading and unloading of goods may be read as under:

1^st Shift: 0500 hrs to 0700 hrs

2^nd Shift: 1130 hrs to 1400 hrs

3^rd Shift: 2000 hrs to 2330 hrs

This has been implemented to optimize traffic flow and ensure smooth operations within the Port Blair Municipal area. A&N Traffic Police advised all truck drivers and owners to adhere to the specified timing slots for loading and unloading activities.

Failure to comply with the designated timing schedule may result in traffic congestion and inconvenience to other road users as well as penalties as per the Motor Vehicle (Amendment) Act, 2019.
