Bambooflat, Feb 13: WITH YOU (NGO), in collaboration with the Gram Panchayat of Bambooflat-1, has proudly inaugurated a month-long training program focused on tailoring and fashion designing. This significant initiative took place at Nayabasti Community Hall on the 12th of February, 2024, marking a pivotal moment in the empowerment of rural women in the region.
The program was officially opened by the esteemed Chief Guest Smti Padmavati, Pramukh of the Panchayat Samiti, Ferrargunj. In her inaugural address, Smti Padmavati commended With You NGO for its visionary approach in creating self-employment opportunities for women, thereby fostering independence and economic growth within the community.
Smti Reva, the Vice President of the NGO, detailed the training schedule, which will run from 9 AM to 5 PM over the course of 30 days. She emphasized the program's aim to equip approximately 30 local women with the skills necessary to thrive in the fields of tailoring and fashion designing.
Shri Shiv Chander More, the Pradhan of Bambooflat-1, encouraged the participants to engage wholeheartedly in the training. He highlighted the importance of skill enhancement for personal and community betterment, urging the women to seize this opportunity for growth and development.
The inauguration was attended by members of the Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRI), representatives from the NGO, and a significant number of enthusiastic women from the village, all coming together to support this transformative initiative.
