Port Blair, March 7: Shri Devesh Chandra Srivastva, IPS, Director General of Police, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, led a comprehensive orientation session for recruit police constables and constables (GD) IRBN at the Drill Hall of Police Training School, Prothrapur. Accompanied by esteemed members of the police force, including Shri. Ajay Krishan Sharma, IPS, DIGP (HQ), Smti. Monika Bhardwaj, IPS, DIGP (Training), Smti. Varsha Sharma, IPS, DIGP (L&O), Shri. Manjeet Sheoran, IPS, Principal (PTS), and Shri. M.K. Shukla, DANIPS, Vice Principal (PTS), the session aimed to prepare the recruits for their crucial roles in maintaining law and order in the region.

The orientation session emphasized the importance of dedication, responsibility, and integrity in the journey of each officer as guardians of society. The Director General of Police, Andaman & Nicobar Islands underscored the significance of upholding the highest standards of professionalism and serving with honour to foster a safe and secure environment for all residents of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
