Port Blair, March 17: The Election Commission of India has announced the schedule for the conduct of General Elections- 2024 on 16/03/2024. With the announcement of the Elections, the Model Code of Conduct has come into force w.e.f 16/03/2024.

In this connection, a meeting with Mediapersons has been convened on Mar. 18 at 10 am in the conference hall of the District Office. The meeting will be chaired by the District Election Officer, South Andaman to brief about the ECl's instructions on Model Code of Conduct.
