Port Blair, May 8: The Andaman & Nicobar Administration has assigned the task of preparing the Integrated Island Management Plan (IIMP) for Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Dweep (NSCB Dweep) to the National Centre for Sustainable Coastal Management (NCSCM), Chennai, in accordance with the Island Coastal Regulation Zone (ICRZ) Notification, 2019.

NCSCM has submitted the draft IIMP, Coastal Land Use Map, and Geomorphology Map of NSCB Dweep and has invited suggestions and comments from stakeholders. These maps are now available on the websites of the A&N Administration (https://www.andaman.gov.in/) and the Department of Environment & Forest, A&N Administration (http://ls1.and.nic.in/doef/). Soft copies are also available in various Offices, including the Chairman's Office, ANCZMA (Chief Secretary, A&N Administration), Member Secretary's Office, ANCZMA [APCCF (CRZ&FC)], Van Sadan, Haddo, the Offices of the Deputy Commissioner (South Andaman), Divisional Forest Officer (South Andaman), Assistant Commissioner (South Andaman), Member Secretary (Pollution Control Committee), Director (Art & Culture), Director (Tourism), and the Tehsildar (Port Blair) for public review and submission of claims, objections, and suggestions.

In this regard, concerned stakeholders have been requested to submit their comments, suggestions, and details of existing or proposed projects, along with master plans for present and future development within a 10-year timeframe, if any, in geo-referenced shapefiles (ArcGIS/Shape File/KML Format) within 30 days from the date of this press release to the Office of APCCF (CRZ&FC), Van Sadan, Haddo, Port Blair, or via email at This email address is being protected from spambots.
