Port Blair, April 30: The Armed Police Unit is pleased to announce the successful completion of its pioneer De-addiction and Rehabilitation Camp tailored specifically for the Police personnel. This crucial initiative, held on 30/04/2024 at Police Line focused on providing comprehensive support and recovery services to officers struggling with addiction.

Recognising the unique pressures faced by law enforcement personnel, the camp offered a confidential and supportive environment where officers could access professional help and begin their journey towards recovery. The program included lecture by medical professionals, individual counselling, group therapy, and workshops on coping mechanisms and stress management.
