Kuldeep Rai Sharma on 16th October 2023, laid foundation stone for construction of an open shed covering hollow block (3 mts height and MS Grill) for vegetable market and fruits vending adjoining to the existing vegetable market at Bhatu Basthi, Ward No. 19, under 17th Lok Sabha MPLAD Scheme.

The work with an estimated cost Rs.22,00,000 was sanctioned by the Member of Parliament following demands raised by a large number of people.

As part of their relentless crackdown on illicit liquor manufacturing, an elite team was swiftly assembled under the leadership of Inspector R.K Mazumder, SHO, PS Rangat comprising of HC Pavitra Sikari, PCs Anil Yadav, Sheetal Das, Ram Prasad Rao, Yaswant and Ct Subol Bepari acted promptly on the received information, launched a coordinated raid deep within the Kalsi forest.
