Port Blair, Oct. 17: The (Branch) MSME Development & facilitation Office, Port Blair, Ministry of MSME, GoI organized a one-day National Seminar on Export Promotion, Packaging, GeM Registration Process, Business Opportunities for MSMEs/Artisans at DBRAIT Conference Hall today. Around 150 participants attended the programme. Shri Yogesh Kumar, Assistant Director, Br. MSME-DFO, Port Blair briefed about the objectives of the programme. Shri Siddharth Gupta, Regional Manager, SBI, Port Blair highlighted the various initiatives being implemented by State Bank of India as Lead Bank for MSME sector. He also focused on Government sponsored schemes and flagship schemes for MSME sector like PMEGP, PMFME, Stand Up India& MUDRA yojana.

Port Blair, Oct. 17: Like every year, Andaman & Nicobar Administration shall be participating in 42nd edition of India International Trade Fair 2023 schedule to be held from 14th November, 2023 to 27th November, 2023 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The theme of IITF 2023 is ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam- United by Trade’. It is a great opportunity to showcase the intrinsic skills of Andaman & Nicobar Islands in the field of Handicrafts by depicting the valuable art and artefacts of these Islands. In order to exploit the available opportunity to find better value for the products, only selected MSMEs of these Islands will be selected to display and sell their products in the Andaman & Nicobar Pavilion during the Fair.
