Ajoy Bairagi met the Commissioner Cum Secretary Education, Andaman & Nicobar Administration and requested to provide justice to the PST Candidates who have been waiting for the last two years to get the job. Their recruitment was cancelled after the entire procedure for recruitment has been over and just before issuing of appointment orders.

Port Blair, Sept. 6: The Special Summary Revision of Photo Electoral Rolls has been scheduled by Election Commission of India with reference to January 1, 2021 as the qualifying date for enrollment of new electors. In this context, a meeting was held under the Chairmanship of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), A & N Islands, Shri K R Meena with all District Election Officers (DEOs), Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) / Assistant Electoral Registration Officers (AEROs) in the conference hall of Secretariat on Sept. 4. DEO North & Middle Andaman and Nicobar District alongwith all AEROs attended through Video Conference.

Port Blair, Sept. 4: The Member of Parliament, Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma, has requested the Commissioner-cum-Secretary (Health), A&N Administration for conducting an impartial enquiry on the grievances and allegations levelled by Dr. Priya, Senior Resident Doctor of ANIIMS, Port Blair. Through her post in social media, Dr. Priya has expressed her mental agony, stress, grief and trauma which she had to undergo during her advanced stage of pregnancy. She has alleged that the negligent and egoistic attitude of alleged Doctors belonging to Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology of ANIIMS ultimately resulted in loss of her child at time of delivery.
