Port Blair, March 27: In exercise of power conferred under M.V. Act 1988 (Act No.59 of 1988) read with Administrations Notification dated 10th March, 2008, the District Magistrate, South Andaman District has notified for the information of all concerned that resurfacing of road for a length of 1.808 Km from Pattargudda Junction to Shopping Complex near Pahargaon will be carried out with effect from 28.03.2024 to 04.04.2024.

Rangat, March 27: The General Public/ SSI Units/ Govt. Department & Contractors have been informed that owing to physical verification of sawn timber in Govt. Saw Mill, Betapur from 1st April, 2024 onwards, the receipt of application and sale of sawn timber and other mill produce to the general public and others will be temporarily suspended w.e.f 1st April, 2024 onwards till the process of stock verification is completed.

Port Blair, March 26: As part of the Lok Sabha Elections-2024, the process for filing of nominations by the contesting candidates is continuing. The Office of the Returning Officer, A & N Islands Parliamentary Constituency (District Office, South Andaman) is receiving the nomination papers from the contesting candidates. Four more candidates filed their nominations on March 26, 2024.
