Port Blair, Dec. 29: The passengers/general public have been informed that to carry out maintenance onboard the vessel, the announced schedule of the vessel MV Campbell Bay to Little Andaman on 03.01.2024 at 0700 hrs from Port Blair and her return voyage on 04.01.2024 at 0800 hrs from Little Andaman to Port Blair has been cancelled. Passengers those who have purchased their tickets for the above sailings have been informed to cancel their tickets and get full refund.

Port Blair, Dec. 29: The Island Tourism Festival-2023 will witness Qawwali performances by Mohammed Warsi and Sons from Rampur at around 8.15 pm at the ITF Ground tomorrow (Dec.30). The Warsi Brothers will be accompanied by Mohammed Waris Nawaz, Ikhlash Ahmad, Mohammed Navi, Afzaal, Bilal Warsi, Gulam Rasool. The Warsi Brothers are known for their intense performances.

Port Blair, Dec. 28: During the opening ceremony of the Island Tourism Festival, the Member of Parliament for Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma in his address proposed one more event like the Island Tourism Festival in the first few months of next year.

He highlighted the annual Island Tourism Festival's success, traditionally held in the last month of each year, and advocated for a parallel event like – the Monsoon Festival – during the first half of the year.

Port Blair, Dec. 28: The Andaman & Nicobar Police organized ‘Kavi-Sammelan’ on 27th December 2023 at Fire and Emergency Services Headquarters, to pay tribute to the martyrs of Tsunami.
