Port Blair, Dec. 18: PS Pahargaon team has successfully traced out 03 missing children who went missing from Bathubasti on 14/12/2023 within 2 hours. On 14/12/2023, an information was received from Smti. Tama Biswas R/o Bathubasti that her 09-year-old child went to her neighbour’s house on 14/12/2023 to play and didn't return home and thus, is missing since then.

Immediately Inspr. Rahul, SHO PS Pahargaon along with the staff rushed to the complainant's house and enquired about the matter wherein it was revealed that 02 more children, one 13 years old and another 10 years old were also missing from their house.

Car Nicobar, Dec. 18: The Andaman Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee, President Shri. Rangalal Halder has submitted a pressing appeal to the Chief Secretary regarding the delayed inauguration of 20 Nos. General Pool Quarters in Car Nicobar, which are established to address the housing needs of government servants in the region.

Halder said that despite the construction, these quarters have been unutilized for the past 1.5 years, creating challenges for government servants adapting to the unique conditions of Car Nicobar as this absence adversely affects the well-being and efficiency of dedicated government employees stationed in the area.
