Spinal infections are the rare infections which occur in or around the spine region of the body. It is one rare condition which can lead to the permanent damage of the spinal cord of a person. It involves the intervertebral disc space, the vertebral bones, the spinal canal, or the adjacent soft tissues of the spine.

Cancer spread to the brain is one of the feared complications of cancer that poses significant mortality and morbidity in the patients with advanced cancer. This occurs when the cancer cells travel through the blood stream or the lymph system from the original tumour and metastasize (spread) to the brain. This is known as metastatic cancer. For example breast cancer that has spread to the brain would be referred to as metastatic cancer and not primary cancer.

With loved ones testing positive, my head reeled, and as I often do, searched for some story from old columns of mine that could steady my worried mind.

I found a story that had long fascinated me; that of an old couple in the Second World War. They lived in London, during the time when Hitler decided to bombard the city everyday. Day after day hundreds of German planes dropped bombs all over the city and flattened building after building. Thousands of people died.

It was while President Trump was recovering from his tryst with the virus and looking at the newspapers, that he saw in the corner of the Lincoln Room, in the White House, a Maharaja! Now there are many who will say that the virus, it causes one to be delirious and I will grant you it does, but Trump, he swears it was a Maharaja, “Whoa! Whoa!” shouted the American president, “What are you doing here Maharaja?”
