Port Blair, Aug. 7: With a view to provide students with the facility for easy assimilation and an enriching experience of the promulgated curriculum, the Navy Children School, Port Blair has implemented Smart Class Room Project for all the classes at NCS (Port Blair) from the current Academic Year. The Project was inaugurated on 07 Aug 12 by Mrs Pooja Marwah, President, Defence Wives Welfare Association (DWWA), Andaman & Nicobar Command. The function was attended by senior officers, various members of DWWA along with teachers, parents and students of NCS (Port Blair).

The aim of this Project is to transform classrooms into interactive learning centres by combining state-of-the-art hardware with up-to-date content as per CBSE curriculum. It will be effectively used by the teachers at NCS, Port Blair to enable the students to understand topics easily with animated representation of the practical aspects of various topics. The audio-visual approach will enable better understanding and comprehension of concepts and their retention among the students. All the teachers of NCS have themselves undergone thorough training before implementation of the project.

The Chief Guest in her address while exhorting the students to do well in all sphere of life also congratulated the School Management and the teachers for implementing the project.
