Port Blair, Feb. 22: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has decided to send the question papers for Classes IX and X online from this year. The question papers for the summative II examinations for class 9th and 10th will be made online through the newly devised Integrated Test Management System (ITMS) across the country and abroad.
Under the system, each school has to register their school name with a user name and password through CBSE website http://cbseacademic.in/circulars.html. This online registration process has already started from February, 1 this year. After the successful registration, the schools can download the IX Std Question Papers from March 5th and X Std Question Papers from 11th March for Summative II examinations, and later 9th marking scheme from 19th March and 10th marking scheme from 29th March.
The uniqueness of the system is that no two schools will get same question paper. The questions papers generated through ITMS will be differing school to school, but the difficulty level and the standard of question papers will remain the same. This is the first time in India such a unique process will be experienced by the CBSE schools.
Before launching this unique programme across the country, the CBSE has piloted it for some selected schools in Delhi and upon its success it has been decided to introduce it to all the CBSE schools in India and abroad.
The CBSE has arranged for Phone and email support services to provide necessary assistance with regard to the newly launched system. The phone support is available at 8506061075 and 8506061073 and the e mail support is available at This email address is being protected from spambots.
