MV Nancowry will sail for Campbell Bay via Nancowry on 01.02.2021 (Mon) at 0800 Hrs from Haddo Wharf and will sail for Port Blair on 03.02.2021 (Wed) at 1000 Hrs directly from Campbell Bay.

Port Blair, Jan 29: The cargo vessel MV Chuglam will sail for Campbell Bay via Little Andaman, Car Nicobar, Chowra, Teressa, Katchal & Nancowry on 03.02.2021 (Wed) at 0700 Hrs from Haddo Wharf and will sail for Port Blair immediately after discharging/loading of Cargo at respective ports.

Port Blair, Jan 29: For the fourth-coming December-2020 Term End Examination, the India Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has uploaded the Exam Hall Tickets at www.ignou.ac.in. All the examinees of Andaman & Nicobar Islands are advised to download the Hall Ticket immediately.  They may also check their name and enrolment number in the Examinees List at their Exam Centre. Along with the downloaded Hall Ticket, student must produce IGNOU Student Identity Card (original) to enter the exam hall.

Port Blair, Jan 28: In the next episode of ‘Morning Tea –Aapke Saath’, All India Radio Port Blair will broadcast a LIVE phone-in programme on the topic ’Achievements of Transport Department’. It can be heard from 0715 hrs to 0800 hrs on 30.01.2021 (Saturday). Director of Transport Dr. Navlendra Kumar Singh will be the expert in the Studio answering to the queries of the listeners on the above said topic.

Port Blair, Jan 24: As part of the Republic Day celebrations in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, ships of Indian Navy and Indian Cost Guard will illuminate on 24, 26 and 29 Jan 2021 from sunset to midnight at anchorage off the Marine flag post sea front. With sunset the ships would fire colourful flares and switch on the outline illumination lights.

The South Andaman Teachers’ Branch of Non-Gazetted Government Officers’ Association, Andaman and Nicobar Islands condoles the demise of Smt.P Kamalakshi, W/o Late Keshavan, R/o Phoenix Bay, Retired teacher, Education Department. She was 64 and died during early hours today at GB Pant Hospital, Port Blair. The Association conveys its heartfelt condolences at her death.
