Port Blair, Dec. 5: The Andaman & Nicobar Football Association will be organizing a selection trail on 16/12/2023 at 2.00 pm at Carbyn Cove Beach for the upcoming Beach Soccer event in the Male U-21 category. Players who are of the age 21 or below as on 25th December 2023 are eligible to participate in the tournament. In this regards all interested players from Districts, Departments, Clubs, Services and villages are requested to come for selection trail at the above mention date, time & venue.

Port Blair, Dec. 5: Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan is a National Programme for popularizing Science among school students of standard VI to XI, conceptualised to identify bright minds with a scientific aptitude from the student community. Altogether 124 students from various schools of A&N Islands have been selected for State Level Camp to be held on Dec.10, 2023 at Khalsa Public Sr. Sec. School, Gurudwara Lane, Port Blair.

Port Blair, Dec. 5: On 04th & 5th December 2023, A&N Police organized an in-house training program on Cyber Awareness, Investigation and various portals being used by the Andaman and Nicobar Police, in hybrid mode. Assistant Sub-Inspectors posted at different station/unit attended the above training program. The session covered a range of topics including online privacy, password security, online gambling, email frauds, child pornography, identity theft, fake dating apps, fake loan apps, social media safety, identifying phishing scams, safe online shopping, digital etiquette, and cyberbullying. Additionally, the program included investigation techniques related to financial fraud and social media complaints.

Port Blair, Dec. 5: The Member of Parliament, Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma laid the foundation stone for a CC Footpath near GSSS Prothrapur, adjoining the graveyard of ward number 19, under MPLADS funds on 03.12.2023.
These projects were sanctioned as per demands raised by the public of the concerned areas are bound to bring huge relief for the residents of the region.

Port Blair, Dec. 5: The District Legal Services Authority, Andaman & Nicobar Islands will be holding National Lok Adalat in the District Court Complex at Port Blair and Sub-Divisional Court Complex at Mayabunder and Circuit Court at Diglipur on Dec. 9. Besides the compoundable nature of cases pending in different courts, disputes at the pre-litigation stage will also be entertained by the National Lok Adalat for disposal upon consensual settlement between the parties.
