Port Blair, Dec. 1: One seat in Physics under Category V for admission to 2 years B.Ed. Course for the academic session 2023-24 in Tagore Government College of Education, Port Blair is lying vacant. The counselling for the admission to these vacant seats will be held on 4th December, 2023 at 9.30 am. Interested candidates who are eligible for this vacant seat have been requested to attend the counselling on the date and time mentioned. If no candidates are available, the seat will be given to the next candidate as per the existing norms.

Port Blair, Dec. 1: As part of ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ initiative and as per directives of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India, the Foundation Day of Nagaland was celebrated enthusiastically on 01.12.2023 at Raj Niwas. Persons hailing from Nagaland participated in the function. During the event, an interaction and experience sharing session was also conducted. A short documentary on Nagaland was screened. The function ended with high tea, group photograph and presentation of mementos to invitees.

The general consumers and Government Departments have been informed that power supply will remain suspended at part of Garacharama, Dollygunj, Attampahad, Old Pahargaon, ICMR Colony area, part of Minnie Bay on Dec. 2 from 8 am to 1 pm, in connection with urgent replacement of defective Air Break Switch (ABS) at Dollygunj near Minnie Stadium.

Port Blair, Dec. 1: The online exam registration for B-Tech Dec, 2023 theory exam commencing from Dec.14, 2023 of Pondicherry University shall be enabled tomorrow (Dec.2). The passed out students having arrear papers and regular students of B-Tech who are eligible for the said exam have been advised to contact their respective Faculty In-charge / Academic Coordinators / Academic Members of their Department for exam registration, exam fees payment and for any other information related to Theory & Practical Exam.

Minister of State for Minority Affairs, John Barla hands over Appointment Letters to New Recruits

Port Blair, Nov. 30: The UT of Andaman and Nicobar secured the ‘Third Highest Position’ across different locations in the country during the Second Nationwide Grand ‘Rozgar Mela’, with a fairly large number of Appointment Letters distributed to 285 newly recruits to fulfill the promise of Hon'ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi to provide Govt. jobs to nearly 10 lakh people.

The grand and historic Second ‘Rozgar Mela’ was organized by Andaman and Nicobar Administration at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Institute of Technology, Pahargaon. Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi participated in this nationwide Rozgar Mela through video conferencing at 38 different locations across the country.
