Port Blair, Jan 25: On 25th January 2024, Shri Dilkhush Meena, IAS, Secretary, PBMC accompanied by Smti S. Selvi, Chairperson, Joint Secretary, PBMC and the Ward Councillor of Ward No. 23, conducted a visit to the aforementioned ward along with PBMC officials. During the visit, Secretary PBMC emphasized the importance of collecting segregated waste from citizens along all routes within the area.

Port Blair, Jan 25: The Supreme Industries Ltd. organised a "Decorators Meet" yesterday 24th Jan'24 at Hotel Amigrace, Gurudwara Line, Port Blair on their Blow Moulded Products Promotion for Tent House.

The company displayed various products and described about it briefly to all the members. An introductory offer was also offered by the company to the Tent House Members.

On this 75th Republic Day, I extend my heartiest greetings to the people of Andaman and Nicobar Islands and wish you all peace, prosperity and progress.

On this day in 1950, India emerged as a Socialist, Secular, Sovereign, and Democratic Republic, guided by the timeless principles of justice, liberty, and equality. Our Constitution stands as a testament, promising Justice, Liberty, Fraternity, and Equality of status—a commitment to upholding individual dignity and the unity and integrity of our Nation.

On the auspicious occasion of the 75th Republic Day, I convey my heartiest greetings and best wishes to all the residents of the A & N Islands.

Seventy five years ago, on this day, in 1950, our Nation was established as the Sovereign, Socialist, Secular, Democratic Republic and the Constitution adopted by ‘We, the people of India' came into effect. This day is an opportunity to remember the founding leaders of our Constitution and martyrs who made the supreme sacrifice for our country. Let us take this opportunity to renew our resolve to follow the ideals of Justice, Liberty, Equality and Fraternity enshrined in the Constitution of India and commit ourselves to realize the vision of a Viksit Bharat.

Port Blair, Jan 25: As a mark of respect to the memory of those who gave their lives in the struggle for India's freedom, Martyrs' Day will be observed on 30th January, 2024. Silence will be observed on the day for two minutes from 1100 hrs to 1102 hrs and work and movement will be stopped throughout the territory on this day. The silence will be observed with due solemnity.
