Port Blair, Dec. 22: The Directorate of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Service has conducted recruitment exam through Computer Based Test (CBT) for the Post of Veterinary Compounder held on 14.12.2023 at DBRAIT, Dollygunj. The question paper along with answer key for the said post has been uploaded in the Departmental website of https://ahvs.andaman.gov.in/  & in Administration’s website www.andaman.gov.in on 23.12.2023 and also available in online portal of https://erecruitment.andaman.gov.in/crap.

Port Blair, Dec. 22: In the series of programmes to be organized during the Island Tourism Festival-2023, a 'Hasya Kavi Sammelan' will be organized at the ITF Ground by the Official Language Department, Andaman and Nicobar Administration on Dec.28, 2023 at 6 pm.

It is brought to the notice of the electricity consumers and general public that, to create safe corridors for electricity feeders and tie lines, the Electricity Department will exercise line clearance and pruning of dangerous trees standing under the area of Calicut feeder on 23.12.2023 between 0800 hrs. and 1400 hrs., to avoid power disruption and prevent electricity faults. During this exercise, the electricity supply in the following area shall be disrupted on 23.12. 2023, from 0800 hrs. to 1400 hrs. for the safety of staff who shall be engaged in line clearance work.

Port Blair, Dec. 21: The Member of Parliament, A&N Islands, Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma has sanctioned Rs. 90 Lakhs for Construction of community toilet blocks (02 for Gents and 02 for Ladies) in 15 villages in Car Nicobar, with an aim to promote health, hygiene.

The work was sanctioned under MPLADs funds for the fifteen villages Viz. Mus village, Small Lapathi, Tapoiming village, Big Lapathy village, Chuckchucha village, Tamaloo village, Malacca village, Kakana village, Kimius village, Teetop village, Perka village, Sawai village, Kinyuka village, Kinmai village and Arong village.
