The Andaman Ship Owners Association deeply mourn the sad demise of one of its senior most members and mariner Capt. KL. Mahajan. Capt. Mahajan, had moved to the islands in 1970s and started an inter-island shipping company which was the erstwhile owner of MV Yolanda. His contribution to the development of shipping in the island is noteworthy and his passing away is a big loss to the maritime fraternity of the islands.
