Shri Ajoy Bairagi, State President, Bharatiya Janata Party, Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Shri. Vishal Jolly, Former State President, Bharatiya Janata Party, Andaman & Nicobar Islands have condoled the demise of Late. (Smti.) V.S. Vijayalaxmi, 67 years, a very popular teacher and a National Awardee who dedicated her life to the service of the students of A&N Islands. She passed away in Chennai during early morning hours on 23rd of August 2020. We pray to the Almighty for the departed soul to rest in peace and to give strength to the family members to bear this irreparable loss.

The South Andaman Teachers’ Branch of the Non-Gazetted Govt. Officers’ Association expresses deep condolences on the sad and untimely demise of Smt. V.S. Vijaylaxmi, Retired Vice Principal today (28/08/2020) morning at Chennai. She was 65 years old. She had received the National Award for best teacher while she was a PGT(History) at Govt. Model Sr. Sec. School. The Association remembers her as a dynamic personality, a good orator and a brilliant teacher who had left a permanent impression among her students, colleagues and other persons. Her demise is a great loss for the teaching fraternity.

The Association conveys its rich tributes and heartfelt condolences to the members of her family.

The Non- Gazetted Government Officers’ Association,A & N Islands mourns the demise of Smti. T Radha, Retired Craft Instructor, Education Department, wife of Comrade K Sreeninivasan, former President of the Association. She breathed her last at 11.35 p.m. yesterday (22/08/2020) at her residence at Anarkali Basti, Port Blair. She was 83. She was an office bearer of the South Andaman Teachers’ Branch of Non-Gazetted Govt. Officers’ Association and participated in numerous struggles of Government employees at Middle Andaman and Port Blair. The cremation will be held at 10.30 a.m. on 24th August,2020.

The Association pays rich homage in her memory and conveys heartfelt condolences at her death.
