The general public and consumers of the Electricity Department are hereby informed that, on 07.03.2024, there will be power outages in the following area between 1400 hrs. and 1700 hrs. for the carrying out of annual maintenance of 6.3 MVA power transformer at the Phoenix Bay Sub-Station. However, the department is trying to make an effort to maintain the power supply consistent while working.

Port Blair, Mar. 5: To spread the awareness among the public on ‘World Obesity Day’ a morning Yoga Session was organized at Jogger’s Park, Port Blair from 5 AM to 6 AM today by AYUSH Wing of DHS and A&N State AYUSH Society. About 25 participants enthusiastically took part in this event. Asana and Meditation, Sukshmavyayam and Pranayama were demonstrated by the Yoga Instructors of AYUSH.
