Port Blair, June 22: The Member of Parliament, A&N Islands, Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma has requested the Director of Transport, A&N Administration to resume the express bus service of STS between Baratang and Port Blair and vice versa. The services was suspended owing to impact of lockdown since 19th March, 2020.
Kuldeep said that due to non-resumption of express Bus service, the villagers are facing great difficulties to proceed to Port Blair and return on the same day after attending their essential works, in which they were doing earlier. The MP therefore requested to resume the express bus service of STS between Baratang and Port Blair and vice versa at the earliest to facilitate the residents of Baratang Island.
