Port Blair, July 7: Continuing with its mission to serve the islanders in need, the team of ‘Port Blair Guru Ki Rasoi’ distributed health kits consisting 1 kg Bounvita, 200 ml Sanitiser, Cookies, Biscuits and chocolates to children residing at Bethney Child Care, Bathubasti, Calvary Children Home, Badmashpahad and Love Children’s Home, Indra Nagar, Manglutan. A total around 110 kits were distributed on 19th June 2020.
During the visit, a request was made by the children that they have to travel 5 kms upto Garacharma to get a photocopy. Responding to the request, the President, Mandeep Grewal promised to provide them a Copier Machine and 4 Bicycles within two weeks.
A branded Copier Machine and 4 nos new BSA cycles were handed over to the kids on 2nd July 2020. As a gesture of gratitude, the children offered a shawl and a well handcrafted greeting card along with a showpiece to the President, Mandeep Grewal.
