Port Blair, Aug 30: The President, Inner Wheel Club of Port Blair Mrs. Komal Anand along with her team members took an initiative to donate 22 mattresses with mattress protectors for charity in a small function at Chinmaya Mission which was attended by the Secretary Social Welfare, A&N Administration Ms. Geetika Sharma. Out of the 22, twelve were donated to the old age home at Ferrargunj on 28th August 2020.
The mattresses were sponsored by Sunil K. Sreedharan and Suparn Sunil Sridharan from Green Ocean Seaways Pvt. Ltd.
Ms. Reeta Devi had received the items on the behalf of the Old Age Home from IWC Vice President Sarita Praladhkar. The efforts of the Inner Wheel Club has been appreciated by the Secretary Social Welfare. Swami Sudhananda of Chinmaya Mission also lauded the efforts of the IWC team.
