Port Blair, Sept. 1: In a letter to the Chief Secretary, A&N Administration, the Chairperson, Port Blair Municipal Council, N.K.Udhaya Kumar has raised the issue of admission of students in various colleges and Institutions. The Civic Chief briefed about the problems faced by the students who are residing particularly in the Containment Zones / Clusters and the issues of non-availability of proper internet facilities in some places. The Chairperson further requested to Chief Secretary to issue necessary direction to the concerned officials and Institutions to extend the last date of submission of application for a further period of 15 days (Up to 15^th September 2020) which will ease out the problems of the aspiring students and the parents as well.
