Port Blair, Oct. 12: A cremation shed was inaugurated at Govind Nagar, Havelock by Shri. Apurba Chandra Roy, Pramukh, Port Blair Panchayat Samiti on 1st of October 2020. Shri. Apurba Chandra Roy also inaugurated a Vegetable Market at Havelock on 9th of October 2020.
The Cremation Shed was inaugurated in the presence of Shri. Ajit Kumar Roy, Pradhan, Gram Panchayat, Govind Nagar, Havelock. The Vegetable market was inaugurated in the presence of Shri. Ajit Kumar Roy, Pradhan, Gram Panchayat, Govind Nagar, Havelock and Shri. Alok Mridha, Panchayat Samiti Member, Shyam Nagar Gram Panchayat.
Both these projects are long pending demands of the General Public of Havelock Island and is expected to facilitate the public in their day to day lives.
