Port Blair, Dec. 18: In view of the increased movement of locals and Tourists between Port Blair and Tourist destinations viz Swarajdweep and Shaheed Dweep, the A&N Administration has decided to augment the shipping services to the above sectors with effect from 19th Dec 2020. The newly drawn schedules are as follows:-
SWARAJ DWEEP AND SHAHEED DWEEP
1. Speed Vessel - Port Blair to Swaraj Dweep Daily at 0515 Hrs Daily at 0750 Hrs
2. Speed Vessel - Port Blair to Shaheed Dweep Daily at 0630 Hrs Daily at 0900 Hrs
3. Speed Vessel - Port Blair to Shaheed Dweep Daily at 1000 Hrs Daily at 1530 Hrs
4. Speed Vessel - Port Blair to Swaraj Dweep Daily at 1100 Hrs Daily at 1330 Hrs (via Shaheed Dweep)
5. Speed Vessel - Shaheed Dweep to Swarajdweep Daily at 1215 Hrs Daily at 1400 Hrs
6. Speed Vessel - Port Blair to Swaraj Dweep Daily at 1400 Hrs Daily at 1630 Hrs
The procedure for passenger ticketing would remain as per the prevailing system through District Administration office and the travelling of passenger would be subject to Antigen / RTPCR negative test report. The passenger list would be displayed at the entrance of the DSS / Port Gate and only the listed passengers would be allowed to enter inside the gate for Medical and other formalities. It may be noted that the Gate would be closed half an hour prior to the sailing of the vessel, and thus all passengers are advised to arrive at Port atleast 02 hour prior to the departure of the vessel so that all required formalities for Medical and ticketing can be completed within the scheduled time of departure of vessel
In addition to the above, all passenger shall strictly adhere to the following guidelines
All Passengers shall compulsorily wear face mask properly during all time onboard vessels.
Passengers shall maintain orderly embarkation and disembarkation and avoid congregation on board vessels and maintain social distancing.
Consumption of liquor, paan, ghutka, tobacco etc on board vessel and spiting is strictly prohibited.
All passengers to follow the instruction and guidelines on board as per the advise of Officers and Crew of the vessel
