Port Blair, Dec. 20: District Administration is conducting a Job Mela on December 26 & 27 at ITF ground, in coordination with ACCI. More than 900 vacancies are being reported by various agencies, who expressed their interest in participating in the Job Mela.

The Job Mela shall be conducted following all the COVID-19 protocols and guidelines issued by the Andaman Administration, based on MHA guidelines. However, keeping the requirements of the current scenario, the following additional guidelines have been devised.

At the entrance, there shall be arrangements for thermal screening and sanitisation. Wearing of mask is mandatory.

Counters shall be established for information dissemination and public facilitation. The job applicants have to fill a form consisting of basic information and submit relevant documents.

Basic information consists of Name, Address, Contact details, Educational qualification, Sector of Interest, Skills/Achievements, ID proof.

After this, the applicant shall be guided to the respective counters for the job interview as per their skills and their choice.

Job Interview shall be conducted by the representatives of the respective agencies.

Applicant can apply/attend for any number of interviews for different companies.

On the spot appointment letter/job offer shall be given to the selected candidates.
