Port Blair, Dec. 27: KRI Cut Nayak Dien, ASW Corvette of Kapitan Pattimura class ship from Indonesia and Indian Naval Missile Corvette Kulish participated in the 35th India - Indonesia Coordinated Patrol (CORPAT) in the Andaman Sea from 17 to 18 Dec 20. The aim of the CORPAT was to enhance interoperability and cooperation between the two Navies. Various tactical manoeuvres and exercises were conducted at sea. Indian Navy P-8I Long Range Maritime Patrol aircraft and Indonesian Maritime Patrol aircraft also participated in the exercise.
The CORPAT reinforced the resolve of both the nations to maintain safe seas despite the challenges of COVID-19 pandemic and further strengthened the “Bridges of Friendship” between our countries.
