Extends Gratitude to the 3 Lakh Customers and Islanders
Port Blair, Jan 1: The Management and Staff of Andaman & Nicobar State Cooperative Bank Ltd, thank their three (3) lakh customers and Islanders for their support and blessings to the bank, due to which the Cooperative Bank was awarded with first prize in the overall performance category for the year 2018-19 by the National Federation for State Cooperative Bank (NAFSCOB) among all the cooperative banks in India under II tier structure.
The Bank has been selected for this award for its Leadership Role, Profitability, Corporate Governance and Management, Resource Development, Computerisation, Financial Inclusion, Outreach, Recovery Performance, Democratic Principles, Compliance of Prudential Norms under the Category of Annual Performance Awards for the Best Performing State Cooperative Banks’.
Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Vice Chairman of the Bank (Hon’ble Member of Parliament A & N Islands) along with Shri K Murugan Managing Director of the Bank, received the award in a grand ceremony held at Mumbai on 29th December 2020. The award was handed over by Shri G R Chinatala, Chairman NABARD and Dr. Chandra Pal Singh, Chairman, KRIBHCO.
