Port Blair, Feb. 3: Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Member of Parliament, A&N Islands has requested the Secretary (Sports), A&N Administration for early posting of Sports Officer for North & Middle Andaman District.  In absence of sports officer, no sports activities have been conducted since last two years. Moreover the youths/talented sports persons are not getting opportunities for their regular practices to participate in the sports meets at various level (District/State/National). 

In order to involve the young talented youths in the sports/games activities during their spare time and to restrain them from involving unwanted antisocial activities, the MP urged the Administration for early posting of Sports Officer.
